Paradise Island is perhaps the most famous resort in Maldives. Perhaps the name itself drive lot of clients to the resort. The resort is a big resprt in comparable to other resorts in North Male atoll. The resort comprise of two type of rooms. Super Deluxe Rooms and Water Bungalows. Water Bungalows have been completely refubished and completed on December 2007

Rooms
Paradise Island Resort & Spa. have two type of Rooms. Super Deluxe Rooms and Water Bungalows. Super Deluxe Rooms are around the beach. near beach vegetation line. The rooms are simple but have all the standard facilities of five star resort. The rooms are also spacious enough to easily put extra bed in case you need three person to share the room.
Water Bungalows have been recently refurbished. and completely different from old water bungalows. however the rooms are still situated on the same area of the island. The new water bungalows sadly only offer for a couple, means triple is not possible. they are designed for honeymooners mainly. The new rooms also comes with state of art design with panaromic view and a breathtaking deck.

Restaurants:
Paradise Island serve both Italian, Japanes and India Foods on their restaurants. All the buffet is served on the main restaurant. There is also a 24 hour coffee shop which offer wide variety of dishes.

Other
One thing i like most about Paradise is their Spa. Paradise have one of the best spas in Maldives with state of art dessign in consistant to Local atmosphere. Unlike other resorts Paradise Spa have good capacity in terms of number of treatment rooms.

Paradise also offer wide selection of amenities and sports faciliies, including gym. there is also a very good dive centre should you want to go for diving. Classes are available for those who want to get padi certificate or learn diving. The Water sports centre also offer canoes, ringo, banana, wind surfing, water skiing, para saily, kite surfing and katamaran sailing.

If you doesn't like to stay on the beach whole day. you may also join excursion like Island Hopping, Male Ferry, Night Fishing. Island Hopping is an excursion visiting few resorts, one uninhabited island (desert island) and a local village. You also get a barbeque lunch on the picnic island.

Conclusion: Paradise Island Resort & Spa offer many facilities compare to other islands. The resort also offers huge beach, lot of activities, good diving and good service. In compare to this Paradise perhaps is the most reasonable (less price) 5 star resort in Maldives.
