Theia is launched in Jan 2010 and offers abundant space for up to 18 guests. The ship is run by a young team of Maldivian dive safari experts. The brand new vessel boasts tasteful interiors and a professional, attentive crew. Groups and single travellers are welcome.

Theia has a total of just eight guest cabins. Two of them are on the upper deck: two comfortable Ocean View Suites. One Superior double bed cabin is located on the main deck. One Deluxe Cabin and four Superior Cabins - each with one big double and one single bed - are located in the lower deck. All cabins are furnished in a modern Asian style.

Communication or navigation equipments: on board comprise of CB radio, GPS, Search Light, Marine VHF. 220 volts AC, 24 V DC, sweet water tank with a capacity of 4000 liters and desalination plant are various other utilities aboard.

Three meals, one bottle of water per day, unlimited tea and coffee are included in the package price. Internet access, equipment rental and consumption at the bar are charged extra at the end of the safari. Playstation 3 and a Wii are on board for your entertainment.

Accomodation: 08 air-conditioned en-suite staterooms. Lower Deck (4 Superior rooms and 1 Deluxe room) Main Deck: (1 Superior room) Upper Deck: (2 Sea-view suites) All rooms are equipped with safety deposit boxes.

Facilities: Separate dive boat, with compressor, tanks, rental dive equipment and 3 crew members.

Diving: Every ship is accompanied by a Dhoni, a separate diving vessel, from which all dives are carried out. The dive gear and compressors are kept on the Dhoni for the entire safari, meaning that guests don’t have to carry their gear back and forth between dives and there is no noise on the mother ship, which makes the dive experience extremely comfortable. A DAN emergency case, GPS and oxygen are also on the Dhoni. 12l Aluminum tanks with DIN/INT valves, lead and belt are included in the package price.
