RITZ KIDS

At The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, families, and young guests are invited to engage with the destination through Ritz Kids, our kids club in the Maldives. 

Designed for those ages 4 to 12, the program uses its four pillars—land, water, environmental responsibility, and culture—to create a schedule of daily activities including sports, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and more. 

The experience is based out of the Ritz Kids Club, a futuristic indoor-outdoor space with playgrounds, napping pods, an area for video games and movies, and a pool with slides and jets. 

Babysitting service is available at a charge, upon request.

DRONE RESCUE

Led by sustainability manager Melissa Schiele, a Ph.D. and researcher from the UK, our ground-breaking drone conservation project monitors the ocean habitat for turtles entangled in abandoned fishing nets, also known as ghost nets. Since the project launch in 2021, we have rescued four entangled turtles and inspired other resorts to launch similar initiatives.

FARI MARINA VILLAGE​

Guests are welcome to visit Fari Marina Village, built around a vibrant Fari Beach Club, high-end boutiques, an immersive art installation by James Turell, Fari Lagoon Coral Adoption & Marine Biology Center, and a selection of upscale restaurants, including The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands´own Bedouin-inspired Arabesque and our island food trailer Tum Tum.
